			The mission of the Saluda Community Land Trust (SCLT) is to preserve Saluda’s rural character by preserving farm and forest land in and around Saluda by:
	History Projects Saving Saluda’s Special Places Accomplishments How You Can Help Contact Us					Ø Preserving undeveloped land in commercial and residential areas for agricultural or public land use Ø Making agricultural land available to local small farmers so that agriculture can be economically feasible Ø Establishing greenways connecting people, land and community lifestyles Ø Conserving the resources of the land Ø Empowering the Saluda community to take ownership of their land and natural resources.
			We are working to preserve local land through conservation easements and land acquisition to develop greenways, safe places to walk, including those for Saluda School children and recreational walkers. Member of the National Land Trust Alliance
